“Soulgasms” Exclusive to Married Virgins!

Dagmar Herzog says it all about how religious conservatives ( largely the Bush administration) have lied to us by preaching that those who wait to have sex until marriage will benefit greatly. They are selling the idea that by waiting, you will experience a marriage that is stronger and even superior both emotionally and sexually to those who do not wait. Read more
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time Quotes

Having finished Mark Haddon’s novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time in about half a day, I found some quotes that I really agreed with. The book is told through the first-person perspective of 15 year old autistic Christopher Boone. He fears large groups of people, has trouble identifying emotion in even his parents based on facial expressions, and has a photographic memory. Read more

Ukraine, Known for Sex?
August 10, 2009 by LadyLogic · Leave a Comment
Ukrainian college students and the organization “Femen” paraded around Kiev dressed as prostitutes (wearing bras, high heels with money hanging out of their mouths, the whole thing) on May 22nd. By bringing attention to themselves, they set out to raise awareness of the sex-tourist location that the Ukraine has become and how prostitution is illegal there. It has long been acknowledged that men go there for the women and sex.
(what’s with the google sign!)
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Ukraine, most prostitutes are teenagers, 60% of them college students. The strange percentage can be linked to the low availability of jobs, low income and high living expenses for women who have to support themselves.
“Kiev International Institute of Sociology surveyed 1,200 college students and 70% of them admitted that at discos, bars and out in the street they were at least once approached by foreigners with indecent proposals.” -Englishrussia.com
I realize that dressing in skimpy sexy clothes brought attention that went international and therefore obviously reached the men in Kiev that day, but their target audience seemed to be blinded by the girl’s looks, prolonging the problem at hand. Rasmus Anderson, a Danish product manager viewing the event is quoted as saying, “You have to agree that there are some very pretty girls here.”

What Drives Modern Feminism.

I find it pertinent to assert why modern feminism is still so essential. It’s still falsely being deemed “unnecessary, illogical and evil” by Psychology Today’s article. Read more
Apparentely Erect Penises Aren’t Welcome?

Filament magazine is a British magazine that intends to appeal to the straight female eye with it’s explicit images of men. Trust me, this sounds fantastic and exciting in a world of overabundant sexy women or muscle-bound scary men that are meant for the straight or gay man’s eye. Read more

Before I realized that being a Feminist meant that you supported the social, political, and economical equality of both genders ( not female superiority) , I referred to myself solely as a Humanist. Read more
